Revised Solo Trapping UW
Seeing Factions is released and ectos on the rise again. Tweaked my old build for solo trapping UW. It seems still with the AI nerf about 50%-75% rate of not dying and actually killing the 3 cows(attaxes) or however you spell it. Build is in progress trying out the new skills and professions. I may have a solid build, only thing that is a flaw is staying alive and taking out one skill to keep you alive will do less damage to the mobs. But the skill Vipers Nest from Factions seems to help alot in the build. Give it time and the build will come back .

As said 50-75% survival rate, also even if you spent 5 plats on unsuccessful runs one ecto drop is worth it all. Ectos are 8 k right now and may soon to be going way up like before. Still tweaking the build .
For those who like challenges, so far the build is :
1)Throw Dirt
2)Barbed Trap
3)Flame Trap
4)Vipers Nest
5)Oath Shot
6)EW
7)QZ
8)Whirling Defense

Been messing around to, you've got me hungry for it.
This build is nowhere near perfect but it's usable... Aslong as you take your time and kite regularly it works. The basic sum of it is to concentrate on 1 AAtxe... Reason Beast Mastery is so low is because you want Ew to last a similar time to Qz.
Basically cast up your spirits then drop your traps... Keep laying them until both spirits have recharged. Run back abit lay spirits again so their out of harms way. Quickly lure the AAtxe with a weapon!! Which ever one you fire at is now your target... Once you're at the traps cast Enfeeble on your target and only your target!(Make sure you do it before it hits the traps) then use Escape. Lay afew more traps then move out the way so the AAtxe slowly move back to their spawn point whilst still suffering... You wont need your spirits from now on so just lay 1 of each trap, lure the same target and use enfeeble and ecape as before. Soon as they hit the traps get to safety and AAtxe will yet again move back to their spawn point... Rinse and repeat and eventually you will have 1 dead AAtxe. As before the main keys here are taking your time, focusing on 1 enemy and kiting.

Well having spent a ton of plats on it I found out a way to do it. Took out throw dirt and put in dust trap again. Cleared out the first area, than squids killed me seeing they also run away from traps and more of them.
I used the Pre-order ritualist weapon, 15+ energy 10/10 spells.
Step 1: Lay DT, BT, FT, VN, Than QZ and EW.
Step 2: Retrap same spot.
Step 3: Move back a bit and drop a item as a marker on the floor and trap.
Step 4: Regain energy.
Step 5: Pull 3 attaxes if a shadow appears run for it and kill it, than repeat traps if needed.
Step 6: Move back behind the spirit and don't cast whirling defense let the dust trap take effect.
Step 7: Once they set off traps and crippled and posioned move back some.
Step 8: When they are back to their normal spot pull them to the 2nd traps.
Step 9: By than they will have 1/4 HP and just whirling defense and spread traps everywhere.
True kiting is a big help, and when in big trouble hide behind the ghost and just trap the attaxe in front of you. It can kill up to 1-3 depending on how well you got the build.

I havent tried them so I cant say for sure but strictly speaking through theory, I can see the vipers nest having an overall better effect than 2 dustraps once the AoE AI kicks in...

Dust trap takes to much energy as it it. Plus using the skill echo it uses alot of energy and takes up a skill slot that is much needed.

Can kill the first 2 squid groups than get horribly ownt :X, not enough time to retrap and they run away from traps, than come back and interrupt the hell out of you. So keep to attaxes .
